Growing up riding and residing among the Selkirk Mountain Range, Sam Kuch developed a deep love for the emerald trees and rocky landscape of his home in British Columbia.
There Sam spent his Summer in Nelson, B.C. on multi-day bikepacking missions. Meaning long days in the saddle, sleeping in the alpine under the stars, and the opportunity to venture into forgotten and abandoned places around the Kootenays. Grounding himself in the bounties of the Selkirks all summer long, Sam balanced his busy winter calendar.
Despite all his accolades, best-in-class air awareness, and whispers of "Best Skier", Sam's the most grounded human we know. His ego antidote of grounding himself in the outdoors, in family, and in his local mountain-town community makes him undeniably deserving of his success.
After experiencing a serious injury in 2022, Sam was eager to fill the 2023 season with projects and parts. "It felt good to be back skiing after suffering a serious leg injury ... It makes me feel so grateful to still be supported and able to push myself" said Sam.
"This playlist includes some of my favorite songs. The songs vary in mood, but they are all tracks that I can listen to over and over and never get tired of."
"I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do."
