For Helena, Montana native Melissa Riitano snowboarding has always been second nature. Acting as a shadow for her older cousin, Melissa was told “keep up or get left behind” though she admitted “secretly, I think they would always wait”. In wanting to follow in her footsteps, and ride with her cousin and her friends, Melissa’s progression came quick. The now Salt Lake City resident resides and rides by the Wasatch Range.
