We’re heading to the mountains for one of our favorite community events of the season: Women’s Weekend at Stevens Pass, happening March 28–29, 2026. This annual gathering brings together skiers of all levels for a weekend of empowerment, progression, and connection—a celebration of women who love the mountains and the culture around them.

We’ll be on‑site all weekend, and we’re bringing something new that's truly special with us: next year’s all‑new K2 Anthem women’s ski boots, a 100% women‑designed and women‑engineered boot line built from the ground up for anatomical precision, real‑world comfort, and high‑performance skiing and you’ll get to meet the woman who engineered them.

Meet Christie Burrow, K2 Ski Boot Engineering Manager

K2’s own Christie Burrow, the engineering lead behind the new Anthem collection, will be at Stevens Pass both days hosting interactive boot clinics and giving skiers a rare behind‑the‑scenes look at how women’s boots get made—and why that matters.

Saturday: “Boots 101”

A welcoming, foundational session covering:

  • What actually matters in ski boot fit
  • How boots function and respond on snow
  • How to choose the right boot for your skiing goals

Perfect for newer skiers or anyone wanting a smarter relationship with their gear.

Sunday: Women’s-Specific Boot Design

A deep dive into:

  • Why women‑specific boot engineering isn’t just a marketing phrase
  • The biomechanics and anatomical insights that shaped the new Anthem line
  • The full redesign of next year’s model—built by women, for women

Plus, both days offer the chance to test the new Anthem boots on snow before they officially launch.

More Activities Throughout the Weekend

Stevens Pass is planning a stacked lineup to support progression, creativity, and community. While the final schedule is still being refined, here’s what’s expected:

  • Steeps skiing clinic
  • Park skills clinic
  • “Charm Your Ski Gear” creative session
  • K2 ski demo featuring next‑season models
  • Après party
  • Product raffle and giveaways

This weekend embraces every kind of skier—whether you’re exploring steeps for the first time, building park confidence, or just there to meet rad women and share a few laps. Stevens describes it as a chance to adventure further, build confidence, and connect with a vibrant community of women on the mountain.

Why We Show Up

At K2, we believe women’s ski equipment should be engineered—not adapted. Women deserve products built for their anatomy, biomechanics, and ambitions. That’s exactly what Christie and our product teams have created with the new Anthem series, and we’re proud to bring this work directly to the community that inspires it. Women’s Weekend is the perfect setting: supportive, empowering, fun, and packed with opportunities to push boundaries and celebrate progression on your own terms.
