Welcome To The Team - Addie Rafford

We're stoked to welcome Addie to the team this year. The Sun Valley native seems to always be on the move, chasing the latest snowpack and more recently the FWT stops. Hear what she had to say about this season and learn a little more about her below:

"Well, I'm always moving, so many of my hobbies have had to adapt or transpired from never really being settled in one place.

I'll admit that I am entirely a coffee snob.. so I'd add 'locating the best cappuccino in a new zone' as a morning pastime if you will.

As much as I appreciate the arts and quality, I also pride myself in compiling low-quality iPhone clips and dad cam footage into a mixed balance of carnage, partying, and skiing; more commonly known as trap edits.

Music is a life essential for me. It actually made this whole “around an hour” playlist a rather difficult task. So, instead of sticking to one genre, I ended up compiling several that could be heard bumping in the headphones on any given day. It varies from hip-hop, and rap, a little reggae, with some indie/soul music. Some songs from different ski/sb films I draw inspo from.

From an outsider's perspective, this winter isn’t much different for me than the last. While I’m still competing, filming, and traveling tons, my focus has shifted a bit from previous seasons. I care a lot about progression and personal expression right now, feeling that I’ve pushed myself and eventually influenced the sport is a big focus.. and never without style;). Although I have been skiing my whole life, I’m very new to the whole this could be/is my “career” status and so I’m still finding that balance. It’s a privilege to be building my brand, but working alongside core brands that align with this is a dream come true. Got K2 in my blood n' it's only just the beginning!"
