The Gateway
presented by K2 Snowboarding and Vintage Sponsor
The early 1990s saw a HUGE progression in snowboarding; the attitude, the style, and the tricks. We wanted to encapsulate that, so we teamed up with NYC-based Vintage Sponsor to put together a micro-collection that pays homage to years past. Shot on location at Big Bear Mountain Resort, this short project features the snowboarding of Sean Pettit, Bar Dadon, and Jayell White.

The K2 x Vintage Sponsor Gateway
An all-mountain freestyle snowboard and is available in both a 154 and 157 length. A classic outline that is packed full of tech they did NOT have in snowboarding’s early days, the Gateway features a core constructed of three different species of wood for smooth presses, fiberglass with tip to tail integrated carbon fiber stringers for snappy ollies, and a hard sintered base to take all of the abuse the resort or the streets can put on your ride.
